Wood-X Colour Range
The natural state of Cedar weatherboards can vary greatly in appearance, from deep red to white pine.
The colour samples below are intended to give you an idea of what Cedar might look like after 2 coats of Wood-X.
The 1st and 3rd panels show what the tint looks like on different colours of Cedar, the 2nd panel shows what the tint will look like when the Cedar has a different grain, which changes the colour yet again.

The colour examples depicted reflect two coats of the Wood-X colour tone on Western Red Cedar timber. The true finish colour will match with reasonable likeness any two coat sample colour swatch or brush out available from Wood-X Ltd, allowing for exposure to light and heat, timber grain, timber base colour and texture, sheen, area size, proximity and relationship to other colours and degree of transparency. It is acknowledged that slight colour variations may occur between different timbers, sawn versus dressed surfaces, mixing and coating methods.
